Healing by Design: A Mental Health Brand Overhaul

A rapidly expanding mental health practice needed consistent visual identity across all patient and provider touchpoints. I created a full suite of promotional materials including patient flyers, office signage, branded web graphics, business cards, and ad creatives while modernizing the overall aesthetic toward a calmer, more accessible design language.

Scattered Touchpoints

The practice had no cohesive visual system across materials. Print needs were handled reactively with varying quality and tone. There weren’t enough creative assets for ads or outreach campaigns, and no process for employee swag that didn’t create operational overhead.

As the organization grew, the lack of brand consistency started creating friction providers and BDRs needed polished materials for community events, marketing needed ad creatives that actually matched the brand, physical office spaces needed identity and internal teams wanted a way to get branded gear without manual ordering processes.

Building a Complete Creative System

Refined the visual style with softer color palettes, calming imagery, and improved typography. Applied the updated branding across both digital and print materials to create consistency.

Designed patient-facing materials including flyers, business cards, posters, and office signage. Oversaw production of branded stress toys and other promotional merchandise.

Launched a zero-cost, print-on-demand company store for employee gear. Managed vendor sourcing and store setup so staff could order branded items without creating manual work for operations.

Collaborated with a third-party agency on the full website redesign, then took over ongoing site updates, landing page creation, and UX improvements. Built separate page structures for patient-facing and provider-facing audiences.

Created advertising creative for paid social and programmatic campaigns. Designed and executed a bus ad campaign from concept to placement, and produced short-form digital videos and banner ads for outreach.

Consistent Creative

Brand consistency improved across all internal and external materials. The practice reduced dependence on outside vendors by owning creative production in-house, which gave providers and outreach staff polished materials to use in the field immediately.

The creative system continues to scale with the organization’s growth without requiring proportional increases in vendor spending.
